….look a little different than they did in college.
After a few Biochem and Histology lectures this morning (glycolysis, yuck), I headed with my group to our interviewing site. As part of our interviewing course, we all go to different health care facilities or nursing homes around the city to practice our history taking skills. Today we practiced working with interpreters! It was really interesting and definitely a skill that needs to be honed.
Last year and basically all throughout college, Thursdays were always pretty fun. Almost the weekend/ basically the weekend. Tonight, I studied. Just like most night of my life these days. To be honest, I don’t really hate it. I think not hating studying is basically essential in med school. I would even go so far as to say that liking studying is essential in med school. It takes up a majority of your time after all. My method – coffee shops with good music and a latte and/or cookie. An introvertive personality helps. BUT, being social is also necessary for survival. I have a whole other post to write in regards to social-ness, so stay tuned!
Tomorrow is Friday! This weekend I plan on going to this FREE concert on Saturday and (very pre-mature) apple-picking on Sunday!
